What’s New
Like many of us, I finally managed to escape the house and travel. In May I spent a few days painting along the beautiful coast of Pacific Grove. On the heels of that I attended the Plein Air Convention and Exhibition in Santa Fe, New Mexico. There were lots of painting demonstrations and talks by artists from around the country. It was both interesting and informative to see how other painters work. After only four days home, I flew to Italy to spend a ten day workshop on sketchbooks at La Romita School of Art in Umbria. As always when traveling, I didn’t get as much painting done as I would have liked, but inspired and refreshed now, I have begun some new work. Stop by my studio and see what I am working on. Visitors are always welcome.
